Cant break windows, ELS7 or bad cars?

Featured Replies

Hi guys.

I am running ELS7 on my GTAIV with LCPDFR.

I've downloaded and installed a couple of police cars to make my game slightly more enjoyable. But i've noticed when people are putting me in a position that I need to "Chase" them.

I can't shoot out the windows? I click the button to and can hear/see the driver repeatadly break it, but can never shoot it out.

Is this a ELS thing? or is this just a design in the car mods?

Is there a way to alter this, or is it apart of the code? Should i just replace the cars with the stock ones and find other mods that allow for broken windows?

Every time an ELS light turns on or off, it automatically refreshes and repairs the car. This is part of GTA's code, and can't be fixed by scripters. This applies to all versions of ELS.

You can actually still shoot through the passenger side window - that doesn't trigger the glassbreak animation before you can shoot. Or, you could actually force them off the road and pin them before getting out to arrest them - like actual cops do.
