Hi,

 

So I'm trying to apply some skins to a model but, Open IV keeps saying that it has run out of memory and Spark IV gets an unhandeled exception.  Is there any way to stop this from happening??

Navigate to C:Program Files (x86)Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IVpcmodelscdimages

                       (X86 depending if your computer is 64 bit)

right click vehicles.img, click properties, then make sure read only is not checked.

That might Fix it.

I've had the SparkIV problem before but not the OpenIV one. As mentioned, check and make sure the GTA folder isn't set to read-only and if it still doesn't work try extracting the SparkIV files to the GTA IV directory and running it from there.

 

As for the OpenIV error, I'm not too sure so try re-downloading it.

You may also want to try right clicking on OpenIV and choosing to "Run as administrator" that can sometiems be the culprit. 

Running as admin seemed to do the trick, thanks!
