Remove the "-". And the "+" is not necessary when it's at the beginning, only after other extra parts.

Well, on the LCPDFR vehicle selection part I did a full sweep of each car and the skin was in place, but when I did a second sweep the skin disappeared.

What do you mean by "they disappeared" ?

They're changing each time you sweep cars and so you have different skins ? That's normal, it will use different liveries.

If I misunderstood, post screenshots, because it's not very clear ^^

What do you mean by "it will use different liveries"?

Also, if I decide I want another skin for a police vehicle will I have to get rid of the +leveries for the vehicle skin I decide to get for it to work?

Edited by Elite911

Well, it will use different skin. Those models have 4 skins. A livery is a skin.

I don't understand you last sentence, please explain better what you exactly want to do.

"Also, if I decide I want another skin for a police vehicle will I have to get rid of the +leveries for the vehicle skin I decide to get for it to work?"

Say for instance I want to get this:

When I got the skin pack that you helped me with, I needed to put in +livery in the vehicles.ide file. Will I need to remove that from the police skin I'm wanting to change or will it not affect the skin in anyway?

A skin is an image, with colors/logos/etc... the pack and the ford interceptor are models, with skins of course, but they are models.

The +livery in vehicle.ide is needed when a model has several skins, 2, 3, or 4. If the model has only 1 skin, you remove the +livery. That's all.

Cj24 Ford PI uses +livery because it has 4 skins in the model.

And to be more complete, the skins are in the wtd file.

For example, the 4 skins of the Rancher you have in your screenshots, they are in "polpatriot.wtd".

You can open it with SparkIV again, export the skins, modifying them with help of the template provided in the pack archive, and import the new skin.

I have an issue in the game that when I open doors or close doors on vehicles the car door that I'm opening closes and open 3 times while the guy is getting in or out and then does it properly. I don't know whether it's because of the skins or not.
