Help regarding multiple skin installation

Hello, I need help with the Modified Default Vehicles Pack 1.0 R1. I used Spark IV to import all of the .wtd and .wft files from the folder into the vehicles.img file but it seems to have only changed the look for the FIB Buffallo. Any reason why that may be? Am I doing something wrong?

Remove the "-". And the "+" is not necessary when it's at the beginning, only after other extra parts.

A skin is an image, with colors/logos/etc... the pack and the ford interceptor are models, with skins of course, but they are models. The +livery in vehicle.ide is needed when a model has several ski

If it can help you :

So, basically I've got to rename the files, correct? Also on the Readme file it said something about:  Open the vehicles.ide file in your Grand Theft Auto IVcommondata folder, find the lines beginning with the names of the appropriate models, and at the end of those lines add +livery.

  • Solution

No, don't rename it, I just extracted the files from the vehicles folder in order to show them all.

Example : police.wft & police.wtd (#1) are from BFLO folder (#1). It's just to show you all the files you have to import.

In fact, PNCL and BFLO files are mixed up, but that doesn't matter.

The only thing is that for polpatriot you have to choose between RCHR or LAND, only one, not both.

--- edit ---

About vehicles.ide, yeah just add "+livery" without quotes at the end of FBI, NOOSE, POLICE, POLICE2, and POLPATRIOT lines.

Example for "POLICE" line :

Default :

police,        police,        car,        POLICE,        POLICE,        VEH@STD,    VEH@STD_RI1,        100,    999,        0.2345, 0.2345,        0.2,    2,    1.0    ,1,    ext_requi+ext_strong

Modified :

police,        police,        car,        POLICE,        POLICE,        VEH@STD,    VEH@STD_RI1,        100,    999,        0.2345, 0.2345,        0.2,    2,    1.0    ,1,    ext_requi+ext_strong+livery

I keep getting a Social Club Login failed message. I purchased it off Steam, so I don't know why that keeps happening. Sometimes it works, when I first got it, it never did that but now it's coming up quite a bit.

It crashed again. I just walked out of the door to the house and it crashed.

So try what I said. But it can be a wrong importation of the polpatriot model too.

Be sure to import polpatriot.wft and polpatriot.wtd from LAND or RCHR.

I accidentally did both before you told me.

Should I use my back up vehicles.img file and put it in the CD images folder and try it again?

Edited by Elite911

Ok, and after that, try the game without any mod.

If you don't crash, then import correct files, save and rebuild in SparkIV, and retry.

EDIt : go slowly when importing/saving/rebuilding, Spark needs time to do this fine following the power of the CPU.
