Diesecting ENB's

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I have been trying to understand how ENB's work for the simple reason of knowing what files to put in .I want the flashy , vibrant ELS like everyone but I don't want the noon setting so bright so my ELS can't be seen .If so I would like t know how to adjust the ELS or maybe adjust the weather settings to suit the ENB .As all ENB's ,Game4Video ,Savior ENB are great but when it's bright they fall down in my opinion ..At present I have British Police Mods ENB as I can use it at the noon setting so I like that characteristic.

If anyone has any suggestions to help I'd appreciate it or I could use the Night time setting but it gives some slight lag while responding with lights ,fine patrolling but if I'm rollin' 3 It lags.

Thanks guys

Would anyone know how to make the ELS lights brighter while still using mt current ENB ,but just adjusting a file but not sure which one I should adjust?

In your visualsettings.dat located in your common>data, find "car.defaultlight.emissive.on." To the right of that, there should be a number. You can edit the number to make ELS brighter, the higher the number, the brighter ELS will be.

Well I have a ICEhancer ENB and I imported the Game4Video ENB visualsettings.dat into my game: Oh and If I imported the whole file could it have changed anything else?

Yes, it will change how the game looks such as the sky, reflection, water, etc.

Ahh i guessed such. I have Kept all my original files and just changes the number higher but how it I make it less of circles of light and more direct strong light. You can see here it's very circuler :

You can turn bloom off in your enbseries.ini or decrease the number. You can also switch out the icebloom/enbbloom.fx until you find one without any flares or download the IcE config tool and turn flares/bloom off. This is actually set very high, as you can see that radius of the secondary is very big. I suggest you to go into the enbseries & under the BLOOM section put radius1 to 1 & radius2 to 4.

If you want my attention, quote me.

Yes I tried the tool before ,I must give it another try. At the moment I have a good ENB but I would like better timecycle modes. Any idea ,maybe taken from an ENB that has a good time cycle?

Here's the results of minimizing the BLOOM radar and radar1:
