    I usually call it Rambar. Fast to say, only 1 word and it sounds coool. =)

Police Departments call it a push bar for the following reasons. (at least by me)

 

1.) They actually got complaints from people for calling it a "Ram bar" 

 

 

It just sounds kind of bad when its called a ram bar, so that's why police departments by me call it a push bar, Its the term they need to use when putting in reports and everything like that...



I call them Rambars... because you ram things with them.

 

 

Ya that's what civil people call it, but police departments call it push bars. Because believe or not, they will get complaints if they call it ram bars, because you don't ram things you push things with it. Raming would be more of a, gunning it and ramming into a vehicle and flipping it over...
