GTA IV

Featured Replies

I know this has nothing to do with LCPDFR, but I had to restore my whole computer to the factory image because of a torrent file, and I had to reinstall everything I had. I got everything re-installed correctly except for GTA IV. Know that if I cannot run GTA IV, then I obviously cant use LCPDFR. I've encountered this problem with someone else a few weeks ago that bought it from steam, and I thought it was just steam, but mine is a legit hard copy from Wal-Mart. I've never had a problem like this before. I did everything correct. Installed GTA IV, Installed the patch, and the game won't even load. Social Club will load, but after I hit play, weather if I hit offline, or online, Social Club goes away, and it does nothing. I do know that before I installed the patch, it worked because I tried it after I had the same problem the first time and I re-installed. But when I installed the patch, it stopped working. Does ANYBODY know what I can do? Please dont tell me that I'm posting in the wrong section because I'm not really sure if I am or not, but if there is a problem then just move the topic to the correct section.

This may be the problem, but I don't think it is because I never had to do this update any other time I re-installed. But I'm trying it now, I'll report back when I'm done.

Update- FML! thats what it was dude.
