Siren doesn't turn on with xbox controller with ELS V7.

Featured Replies

When i go to turn on my siren with my xbox controller nothing happens it worked for ELS v6 perfectly fine and i don't know if their is a way to do that?

Anyone know the number that works with the clicking of the left thumbstick? That's what I used with v6 and would love to use the siren the same way.

I use a workaround, a bit weird I know but it works :

1 - SimulateKeyPress script + custom ini (see spoiler)

LB = {E}

RB = {ShiftKey}
DPAD_UP = {F6,F5}
DPAD_LEFT = {F3}
DPAD_RIGHT = {F4}
DPAD_DOWN = {F8}

2 - ELS7 custom ini (see spoiler)

ComboKey = 116 // 17Ctrl by default & custom F5

ToggleExpressMode = 117 // 8Backspace by default & custom F6 **

---

Explanation : I changed the ComboKey and the ToggleExpressMode to F5 and F6 (change by what you want except CTRL ALT SHIFT) in ELS.ini, so when I hit Dpad UP (mapped for F6+F5) on controller, it activate Express Mode, and so the siren works if I hit Left Stick. It would be better if we could set ExpressMode on "automatically launched at startup" in ELS.ini, but we can't, or I'm blind. Note that if I hit Dpad UP again while siren is on, it disable Express Mode but lights still enabled, it's kind of muted siren. Don't know if it's clear ^^

The other mapped keys are for indicator script, some lcpdfr functions, and cruise lights which I set on F8.
