Who remembers that game The Getaway? It started off with a cutscene of a mom and her son getting ready to leave their London apartment, but some kidnappers (who were after the mom, but shot her dead when she resisted) took the kid, and the dad just happened to hear the whole confrontation from upstairs and ran out and pulled someone out of their Alfa Romeo and chased them. If I remember correctly, the kid never appeared in the actual world, only cutscenes. However, references were made to the kid vocally, as when the bad guy was explaining to the dad what he had to do to get his son back:

Let's play a little game. I ring you, you do the job. You don't do what I tell you, the kid dies. You don't do it when I tell you, the kid dies. You don't do it where I tell you, the kid dies. You talk to anyone, you're late, or you let me down, your kid dies! You getting my drift?

 

 

If Rockstar were to put kids in their games (which I don't see them doing considering what just happened at Sandy Hook), it would just be limited to cutscenes, and maybe vocal references.

      The reason they've never added children, is because nobody considers it ethical to have a game where you can go around shooting children. And I think many modders would have a problem with that too.

      Are you nuts? A game allowing people to shoot children could get the game banned. That would be 10x worse than the 'hot coffee mod.' Personally, I would not enjoy if someone would make the mod either.
