Zmodeler Issue?

TUNES

Recommended Posts

So earlier this morning, I was attempting to do my first mod ever. The project was to install the 09 CVPI wheels by BxBugs onto his unlocked crown vic model.

All the work was done in zmodeler, no problems, no errors, it looked great. Heres even a pic of how the finished product looked like in OpenIV:

But when I fired up GTA IV and spawned the car, this is how it turned like:

Does anyone know what might have gone wrong, and is there a way to fix this?

Make sure everything is visible in hierarchy; mesh, model_L1, model_L0, and the collision mesh then position it properly in the front left. After that make sure all the other dummies in all the other well places are centered perfectly with the mesh, and with the collision so it doesn't mesh up the car like what happened to you. Installing wheels is a bitch, but I managed it once, with the wheels your using.

Make sure the wheel_lf dummy is lined up properly on the model.

Additionally, It looks like you haven't moved the wheel_lf_[COL] into position, that wheel by default is oversized and needs resizing. This goes for the mesh and the COL file

Ok so I made sure I followed everything you guys told me, I resized the wheel_lf_[COL], and made sure the wheel is lined up, But the car still looks retarded in-game! What in the world is going on!?

  • 1 month later...

The wheel dummies aren't in the correct place (the small blue squares)

They need to be moved into the centre of each relevant wheel.
