for days i have been trying to get this work and so  far no luck.

 

i have a copy of gta iv from amazon (two discs) i have intalled it fine and tried putting lcpdfr 0.95 mod in. everytime i try to launch gta iv it say an error occured and is closing dow and the game will not load.

 

i have ran as administrater - still the same

changed all files and folders from read only - still the same

given all folders and files admin rights - still the same

i am the admin on the computer - still the same

 

any help would be much appreciated many thanks

What is the error that it gives you?

its a dsound.ll error please help to fix this ive tried tons of things and even searched google still no luck :( i have delted the file previously and the game works but when pressing alt p it just makes the screen blurry :s

i have tried the diagnostic tools but it wont work :( it says it has stopped working. a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. windows will close the program and will notify you if a solution is available. but then nother ever comes up it just closes the windows, thats what happens with gta aswell but it has said a few times on gta its the dsound.ll file

You have to update to 1.0.7.0 patch

is that the one i can get from the rockstar webiste? sorry to be a pain
