NPCAI and "talking" to my computer

Featured Replies

What you all are doing with NPCAI and other mods for realistic interactions in LSPDFR is amazing. I know just enough about coding to break things, so my hat is off to all of the authors of these awesome mods.

Maybe its just me and I am an "old fart" but it feels awkward to talk to my computer while playing a game, especially when other people are home and can hear me. Has then been any thought to creating or updating some of the mods to allow users to interact with the game using text as a from of dialogue? For example, when interacting with an NPC instead of using my voice to ask a question or give a command, have an option to open a text box and type what I want to say to the NPC player? If this already exists where can I find it?

Again nothing but good things to say to all the developers out there but this is way above my skill level and just and idea to consider.

Thanks
