The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.
[16th April] LSPDFR Enhanced Preview has been updated to include a fix for users struggling to access the PD interior.

Hey, wanted to jump back into LSPDFR after years, but I'm getting the error ERR_GFX_D3D_INIT

I've already tried the following:

  • Updated graphics card drivers

  • Disabled all overlays

  • Clean GTA installation with LSPDFR only

  • Set settings.xml window to true

  • Reinstalled GTA

  • Uninstalled NVIDIA Experience

  • Installed DirectX

  • Installed dependencies

  • Disabled BattleEye

Nothing worked... As soon as the Rockstar Games logo appears, the error shows up and it crashes.

Game Version: Latest / Legacy

Launcher: Epic Games

My PC:

  • NVIDIA RTX 4070

  • Corsair 64GB RAM DDR5

  • AMD Ryzen 7900X

  • PCIe 5.0 M2 1TB

    1. Do you have the latest versions of the following installed: .NET Framework 4.8.1, Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable, and DirectX End-User Runtime?

    2. Have you created an exception for the Grand Theft Auto V folder in Windows Security or in the antivirus you are using?

    3. Have you installed any mods? If yes, please rename the mods folder to _mods and tell me if the same issue still happens.
