Is there a way to replace sounds on gta enhanced, for example weapon and sirens?

I can't get vehicles to replace with LSPDFR installed, but I was able to replace them a couple months ago on enhanced. I'm doing exactly what I did before, converting to gen 9, placing them in the latest patchday, and encrypting the edited files, but the vehicles don't replace. Also, does ELS work with enhanced?

els doesnt work. i have been using non-els veh. and i also utilized the nve_vehicles folder that came with the nve enhanced download and just placed that in my dlcpacks and replaced from there. converted 3 cars and replaced police 1-3

Sounds I believe don't need converting.

Weapons need converting.

You don't need to encrypt.

Cars have certain limitations in enhanced if exceeded, your game will crash.

I convert assets using CFX's tool Alchemist.

ELS doesn't work but DLS works.

For encrypting, I meant encrpyting the rpf files that are edited, vehicles.rpf and dlc.rpf, from open back to NG. My understanding from watching tutorials is that this needed to be done otherwise rockstar would revert the edited files or just crash.

Is there any resources you can provide for what you described with NVE? I will try a fresh install and see if I have luck with that.

encrypting might be needed for replace in patchday? Not too sure on that but addon packs is something I use so idk about replace cars. Maybe use EMF for Enhanced for replace cars. I personally haven't encrypted once.

Have you done any .meta file editing? Anytime I edit vehicles.meta for example, its just an instant crash. I'm very familiar with modding on legacy, but trying those methods on enhanced isn't working.

I would love to just stay on legacy but I get like 20-30 fps compared to enhanced getting 60fps easily on maxed ray tracing.

I haven't personally yet but I know the the .meta files should be fine to directly edit in.
