The game usually crashes when I'm attempting to arrest someone after the takedown action. 

do you have a log? I would recommend reinstalling gta (rph log pls)

I LOOKED at your log, and I wish I knew.

I just removed Ransom Ambience last week which helped, but it doesn't crash on my potato netbook.

 

You have ambient immersive ai units that slows down ur game and riskier traffic stops is unstable but ur logs shows thats not the issue

 

Traffic policier is antiquated; you might want to to remove it

 

I dont use policing redefined, so i cant help with that but logs show NO issues there.

 

We use the same plugins.  i just dont use PR and risker trafic stops

 

Best bet is to use an old backup and make stable backups; we all have to reinstall when the build gets soggy. I backup once a month then get creative until the game crashes and then revert. Creative I MEAN ADDCARS AND GUNS AND MAPS

iMMERSIVE AMBIENT EVENTS IS GOOD. aI UNITS IS GOOD BUT ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH AMBIENT UNITS DOING CALLOUTS WILL CRASH UR GAME. jUST USE ULTIMATE BACKUP AND POLICE AI. tHATS IT

Hey bro, thank you heavily. I'll remove traffic policer and AAIC. I'm really big on realistic immersion. As for backing up my game, do you mean the GTA program itself or LSPDFR and its associated plugins/scripts?

ambient immersive events do keep as I tested today and talked to dev it’s good you need it.
 

Ransom use sparingly but it works I just don’t like constant duis and pursuits so i use it once a month, it’s not it my game anymore. Might add it back and just keep the puking, indecency and some other stuff as it’s immersver for sure just to repetitive henceforth just keep aie as the main framework for lore non game intrusive side missions.

 

i read through ur logs and it’s looks perfect so pat urself on the back. 
 

In conclusion after testing today I realized it’s not plugins crashing both our games.

 

its not our pcs or cards or our custom texture/car/gun/map files either. Rockstar is very flexible. It’s all down to lspdfr which is unstable. I went through hidden folders today and tried to rewrite code. That doesn’t work. 
 

last note. It’s ur lspdfr sync so disable that I just did today and your lspdfr config file. Edit that and I’ll screenshot a copy of mine for u if you want. Also restart ur pc daily. Memory is questionable with gta. It works until lspdfr which is unstable enters the mix.

Remove traffic policer. Not well made, very buggy, not really and English developer meant for global use. It doesn’t work anymore, I think the latest update for gta config which is what we both have. It’s not compatible. Also not updated since middle of 2024. 

Backup. Literally copy ur gta root directory to an external hdd and make a second copy every month becus ur game will break . Then revert to the oldest copy as a newer backup is less stable. More days it sits on ur drive the weaker the game gets and lspdfr crashes due to memory issues but it’s not ur hardware.

 

I also make a second copy and backup to the cloud.

 

1. when you copy everything and ur game is destroyed all u have to do is remove the game.

 

2. clean gta install through epic or steam

3 . paste ur old gta root over ur new boilerplate install with no mods

4. after this all ur stuff comes back with no issues

dont don’t do step 5

5. You can try to only copy mods folder but if you have custom cars, I replace all cars in game , this won’t work. 
 

if u copy mods folder you don’t have to wait as long but this method doesn’t fix crashes so just do a clean install. Then copy, no need to reinstall each plugin one by one if you have a fresh gta install and a fresh backup on a cold drive for rainy days
