Game crashing after installing a DLC car pack

Featured Replies

Title essentially sums it up, after installing the attached pack - my game simply just crashes. There's no crash log, I have packfile adjuster, heapadjuster, custom config file etc. This is the only dlc vehicle I have which has this problem, obviously as the pack is 4 years out of date, im wondering if that's what causes it.

i used to use this pack and it worked then, but i don't see why the pack itself would be crashing your game. Did you follow all the correct steps? those steps being
- Go to GTA V > mods > update > x64 > dlcpacks

- Drag and drop the dlcpack folder "MirrorPark" into "dlcpacks"

- Go to GTA V > mods > update > update.rpf

- Locate dlclist.xml and open it in edit mode

- enter the line <Item>dlcpacks:/MirrorPark/</Item>

While you said you have all required stability files, just ensure that the following are up-to-date, as one or more may have updated since your last installation (pretty much just verify you version)
- Heap Adjuster

- Resource Adjuster

- Packfile Limit Adjuster

- gamefonfig.xml

If your game is still crashing, send you log, so we can confirm that is may actually be the pack.

This isn't a solution, but I'm having the exact same problem with Rabbit's 2021 FPIU2 pack. Literally worked one second, the next time I booted it up (less than 30 minutes later) without changing a thing... crashes with no explanation as to what happened or what changed. Game works perfectly fine when I remove it. Tested it a handful of times taking it out and putting it back in, downloading it again from scratch.. nothing. No clue what's causing it.

Sorry for the late reply, I've been busy with quite a few things.

Same issue occurs, there's no log however - steam just forcequits GTAV even without RPH being loaded

Hey, I might have actually solved this. I was having the exact same problem as you, as I stated in my initial addition. You'll have to check on your stuff, but for my issue it actually ended up being a problem in the ELS file. I had tried to set the extras in the "extras active on cruise mode" section to 1, 2, 7, and 8, instead of the traditional 1 - 4 they all seem to come with.... seems like theres a reason I never see any ELS files that have cruise extra options anything other than 1 - 4. I switched the 7 and 8 back to 3 and 4, and my pack works again, no crashes. If you have that packs ELS file installed, maybe try installing it again cleanly and see if your issue mirrors mine. I hope this helps!
