Riskier Traffic Stops made me crash?

Featured Replies

Hey, someone willing to take a look at my log please? I was responding to a callout that required to stop a vehicle, I did it and then it crashed. I am trying to figure out if this is just a ''normal'' crash or some conflict with some other plugins that I should remove. I don't remember which callout pack I was playing though. If you need other informations ask me.

Installed plugins:

686 callouts

immersive ambience events

resource adjusters

riskier traffic stops

unitedcallouts

variety callout

regular callout

custom ped scenario

compulite

stoptheped

supercallouts

ransom ambience

lemon ui

I'm pretty sure the error you got in relation to Riskier Traffic Stops is from incorrectly editing the ini file for it. The number you put in for the chance of an event happening was invalid. You must change it to a valid number.

Additionally, Police Station Armory Loadouts Creator.exe also threw an error. Not sure if this was a result of Riskier Traffic Stops crashing or its own problem.

Thank you for the reply, I didn't change anything from that ini, but I will try to put a valid number still and see if it will be happening again.

As for police station armory, yes, it doesnt work at all for me, I think its outdated but I cannot see a link between that plugin and suspects behaviours at traffic stops.. I will just remove it just in case

Just happened again, this time at a random event, it didn't crash, but white text appears on suspect's vehicle, and at the end of pursuit it which I am still doing, it will probably crash like other times happened (EDIT In the end it didn't, white text only)

I checked the ini and the value is 15 chances on 100, which shouldn't be an invalid number since the max is 100. @UnknownBastion .

Auto helper says I have some broken plugins, but  those are callouts so I dont think its related since it was a random event but I will remove them just in case.

Maybe there could be a conflict with stop the ped? since I read somewhere they have some features in common. I am also thinking that could be a conflict with a random event and riskier traffic stops could have conflicted with the behaviour of suspect of the event

No, it's not related. However, some things do crash as a result of something else crashing first. In this case, I dont think that was what was happening.

As for the crash, screenshot the ini for Riskier Traffic Stops.

I'm wondering if maybe the total of all the weights have to value to 100? I could be wrong though.

I can try but I doubt it, it should have been stated by the modder in the readme if it would be this way, and many should have this problem that I have, but I cant find anyone on the forum that solved a crash with riskier traffic stop  by setting the values to make a total of 100

So I have asked around and it appears that it is just a bug.

Here is specifically what I was told:
"He created a list/array and tried accessing an index/element outside of it."

Additionally, the Police Station Armory Loadouts Creator.exe crashes because it doesn't belong in the Plugins folder. More than likely it goes in the Main Directory.

Thanks! Before writing this post Riskier traffic stops crashed about six times in a single gaming session but after your last comment I never had issues with it anymore. I didn't touch anything lol
