GTA V Crashes When I get a Call Coming In

Featured Replies

I just recently started playing and started downloading mods individually, the game ran smoothly with stop the ped, but then I downloaded compulite, ultimate backup, and grammar police, without running the game to check. Now it crashes when I get a call. I actually do not know where to find the crash log, if anyone could help me with finding that, I could provide it on here. Thank you!

You have a slim.dx error, there is no guaranteed solution, but a few steps you can try:

- an exception for your antivirus for the whole gta folder

- reinstall Ragepluginhook

- update/ reinstall audio/ graphic drivers

- run the framework.net repair tool https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=30135

- complete pending windows updates
