I've been having an issue where I need to update the game for seemingly no reason. sometimes its once a week or sometimes its more than once, but every time it happens, the "update" is the same size as the game itself. I bought the game on the rockstar launcher and i have tried a deleting everything and reinstalling multiple times. I also have 2 GTA V folders (one for LSPDFR and one for online). any help is appreciated 🙂

do you have steam should let you install it on the drive, but im guess both running at the same time you the update scripthookv and re- verify it or un-stalled the game then back it up 

I have steam but the game is on Rockstar Launcher. Its just finished its 114 GB update and ive deleted the gta folder that i had for online to see if that fixes the issue. now i guess i need to wait to see if the issue continues or not. if it doesnt fix it should i verify the file integrity?

How would i open it from steam if the game is on the rockstar games launcher?

if the game is in Steam and Rockstar goes to Steam Library click the setting on the right side browser to manage files to your local  files

no, the issue is continuing. Having to do another 114 GB update again already
