LSPDFR Crash related to StopThePed

Featured Replies

So I think there's others who have faced this issue, but I never saw anyone say they managed to fix it. I use EUP, UltimateBackup (including the EUP configs for UB). Basically anytime my partner (or some backup unit) arrests a ped while in a pursuit, the moment the pursuit ends, LSPDFR crashes. The log says "STP cannot take control ALL arrested PedSystem.Threading.ThereadingAbortException: Theread was being aborted". I tried disabling the TakeOverArrests command in the stoptheped.ini file, but to no avail (matter of fact this setting changed absolutely nothing). Some user also recommended disabling ambient pursuits, which I tried, and it didn't work again. The last thing I installed was the EUP config for UB, I tried reverting those changes and it still crashed whenever my partner arrested somebody. Disabling my mods stopped the crashes (at least I think it did, I only tried a couple of calls), but I can't really pinpoint which mod is causing the trouble. This is quite frustrating, any help would be appreciated. I've attached the RGH.log.

Go into the lspdfr.ini and change the following to reflect below:
Ambient.DisableEscapedSuspectEncounter = true

If that does not work, rename mods to _mods and try again.

As mentioned in my original post, the former did not work. I did try the latter, which would mean disabling mods, and yeah that does work, I just can't pinpoint what mod is causing the issue.

If renaming mods to _mods works, then the issue is the mods folder. Rename it back to mods and do the following:
1. Install the Gameconfig, Heap Adjuster, and Packfile Adjuster.
2. If that does not work, remove what you have added recently one by one and test after each removal.
3. If you still cannot find the problem, you will have to restart the mods folder.

Ironically, I have those installed. I just downloaded them from the links you included and they've all been downloaded before. Guess I'll have to remove mods.

So I removed the last added things (which actually weren't mods but rather plugins) and it no longer crashes during arrests. However it still crashes from time to time due to various reasons which I'm unaware of. To name one, it just crashed after I had my AI partner perform a pat down on a pedestrian. Here's the crash report.

I have done that too beforehand, it didn't seem to fix it. It was recommended in many threads for this issue.
