Proper GTA IV Style minimap/radar for GTA V

Featured Replies

Just an FYI, I have no clue in how the HUD coding is on GTA V, so please explain how much of this is possible and which isn't...

From the like 5 circular minimaps I've seen, none of them really are the quality I am looking for (Properly placed health and armor bar, proper outline, still GTA V themed, not sticking out blips etc.) and can't see much of a reason why there isn't a proper GTA IV styled hud in GTA V, other than perhaps making the health, armor and special effect bars functional while they also bend around the minimap. And maybe also keeping blips within the circle (as I assume it's difficult/impossible to make them move in a circular box rather than rectangular one).

Sure, maybe we can skip the whole health-armor situation where they move alongside each other and just have specified slots for armor, health and special effect (as it is in the base game), but even then I am unsure if that is completely possible.

I'm unsure if I have gotten my idea across, but long story short a proper GTA IV radar in GTA V with most of the features the IV radar has.

As said beforehand, you're welcome to explaining why this isn't possible 🙂
