RPH does not load the game after the new update

Featured Replies

I got the game working properly last night, but this morning Steam updated the GTAV to the last version and I installed the new RPH version posted on the website but now the game won't initiate, RPH gets stuck in the Waiting for Game Window but the game never initiates, when I look in my Tasks Manager, there's a GTA V tab but only consuming like 70mb of RAM when it usually uses like 3gb when starting.

I re-installed the whole game again and it started normally but as soon as I add LSPDFR, the game won't start and will get stuck in the Waiting for Game Window part.

Anyone else had this problem and could solve it? Should I just wait for other stuff to get updated for the last GTAV version?

You are talking about two different things here. RagePluginHook is the hook that is attempting to load the game. ScriptHookV is for loading scripts like ELS or trainers.

In this case, if RPH is not loading, try launching GTA V first. Then once fully in story mode, tab out and launch RPH.

I tried launching the game first without RPH, same thing happens, game does not open and GTA V appears in the tasks manager using 70mb but the game never opens

Couple of things:

1. Ensure that you have uninstalled ScriptHookV.

2. Try adding the Main Directory to the exceptions list for your anti-virus. Then restart your PC and try running just normal GTA V.

I've done that already too, game does not open, that last GTAV update ruined my game, before that it worked perfectly with all the mods

@GWwolve, in the future, please create your own post instead of responding to someone else's. Thanks!

@ElmompiEnsure you have updated RPH/LSPDFR/ScriptHookV. Once you have done that, run normal GTA V. If that crashes, rename mods to _mods and try again.
