With BETA 3 about to go live, I'm almost done working on this mod, and it's getting close to the public release, I'm wanting to get feedback from the community and find out what they would like to see added to the script.

 

I have an CAD added so that you can update your 10 code through this script, an auto update feature sends your location automatically as you drive around, but what else would you like to see added? Not all suggestions might make it to Public 1, but all will be considered, as long as they don't require it's own complete script (I've got lots of script ideas ready to get started, and I don't need to think about more right now)

 

Also I've got a video uploading as I type this so soon I will be updating the main post to include the new video showing off all the features.

BETA 4 is now live. This is the final testing phase of my script before public release. Original post updated.

Public Release is close. I have finished adding all the features that I have planned, and I am just waiting for the next day or two for any last minute bug reports to come in, but if everything goes well, the script will be released within the next day or two, and I will shift my focus on to my second script ADMS.

 

At the time of Public Release, this thread will change in to a support/request thread for people having problems installing, or other problems, and to request features for future versions.

 

I'd like to give a huge thanks to my BETA testers for helping test my script during it's development, and I hope that everyone enjoys this script.

installed it went in game, turned it on and logged in to the link for the clan and its just a blank GTA map.... i dont see myself updating or anything.

is it possible to have the street names on the map like the google maps mod?

This is a planned feature. I spent more time working on the script rather than the web component to get it out, now I am working on improving the map.

I believe I have fixed a problem with the custom clan maps, try again now and it should work.

interesting, have you pressed Q to try a manual update to see if that is working, if not whats your Games For Windows Live ID, I will check to see if it's adding you to the database.

 

There are a few other people I can see on the map that have it working. I can only guess that the program didn't add you to the database properly.

My game freezes every 5-10 seconds and then instantly goes back to normal as if it is trying to update my location even though I have that disabled... Any way to fix this?

Yes myself and friends had this problem! I had it sent to 3 sec auto and it worked for a little, but I got the lag as well everytime it sent a signal, and then we disabled Auto tracking and it still did it!

I played with this last night! Man is it cool! However one small thing if i may suggest, maybe something to show your name and if you change 10 codes it changes color on the dot or flashes or something. 

I too am having the freezing issue.  I left the refresh updates at the default 5 seconds and it makes the game almost unplayable.  It also seemed that my location was off by about 100 meters.  Always had me about 100 meters west of where I actually was.

The location is spot on for me, If he can get this freezing issue fixed I think this would be a great addition for my clan.

The script checks for an update every 15 seconds, your internet connection determines the length of the pause you receive, I will probably set it to only check the version at start up in a future version.

That's fine, My connection is good: 50down, 10up and 15ms ping (Southeast US)
