    For people who search this in the future (hi!): The cause is likely that you are in the wrong .img file. This is easiest to do in EFLC, where there's an EFLC/pc/models/cdimages AND an EFLC/TBoGT/pc/models/cdimages folder. The TBoGT one overrides the other one, so any file found in the TBoGT image must be modified there to have an effect.
