vdH PoliceHelper Support

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am a frequent user of LCPDFR ingame on GTA: IV and I recently

tried adding the

vdH PoliceHelper

to my Modifications for the game to allow me to have some more

options on the game itself.

However,

Upon installing the addon and reading the readme, I placed the files

in the correct places in order to run it, but it did not run ingame when

I pressed 'X', so I then followed the help to force it from '0' to '1' in

order to see it ingame, but that still did not do ANYTHING at all.

Can anyone provide assistance?

There are usually two reasons that PoliceHelper doesn't work.

1. If you press X and game pauses, but PoliceHelper is not seen on screen it means your ENB is incompatible and you should use forceResolution settings.

2. If game doesn't pause it means that your PoliceHelper is not installed correctly. Users sometimes confuse copying folder form zip with copying files. Make sure dll and ini files are in your scripts folder.

You can paste your ScriptHookDotNet.log file here and if there is one present, vdH_errors.log file, but I'm pretty sure it is just wrongly installed mod ;)

Thank you, I fixed it perfectly, I discovered the issue between the two Computers, when I go steamapps -> common -> Grand theft Auto IV, before I go -> GTAIV, scripts was there, I moved it to GTAIV and it works great now!
