Impossible to uninstall the Natural Vision Evolved Extra végétation mod

Featured Replies

Spoiler

Hello,

I'm reaching out because I'm facing an issue with a modification in my game that I haven't been able to resolve. Specifically, I'm trying to uninstall an extension from the Natural Vision Evolved mod called 'Extra Vegetations,' which significantly increases the number of trees and other vegetation.

I've tried everything I possibly can, but I'm unable to remove this extension. After installing it, I noticed that the game started having issues due to the sheer number of trees, bushes, and the overall increase in vegetation density that this extension introduces. Because of these performance problems, I want to remove the extra vegetation, but no matter what I do, nothing seems to work.

I've already removed the lines of code related to the addon from the dlclist file and deleted the NVE_vegetation_extra folder from the dlcpacks directory, but the additional vegetation still remains in the game. I even tried using the OIV uninstaller that was provided with the mod, but that didn’t solve the problem either. Despite all these efforts, the extra trees and bushes are still there, and I can't seem to get rid of them.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot !

If you cannot locate the files per the methods you said above, you may be forced to have to remake the mods folder.

But do you have any idea for the possible reason that this bug is happening. Because it means that if anybody install this mod, it will be lasting in his GTA V forever.

Big performances issues, after going on Duty. But I know the LSPDFR plugins costs much FPS, So I tried to delete some callouts plugins, as it is the plugin taking the most fps. So I have usually 60 FPS on my GTA V with NVE installed without loading lspdfr.

I know that NVE has an LSPDFR compatibility update. But beyond that, I dont know much about NVE.

You can try these LSPDFR setting for increased FPS:

Spoiler

Networking.DisableDiscordRichPresence = true
PoliceStation.DisableAmbientSpawn = true
Frisking.DisableCovid19Items = true
Callouts.DisableBigRadar = true
AmbientSpawn.DisableRandomUnits = true
Main.PreloadAllModels = false
WorldEvents.MaxNumberOfEvents = 0
Ambient.DisableEscapedSuspectEncounter = true

I already did all of that before to increase my FPS, but I found out the dlcpack that was still adding the vegetation in my gta 5, it appears to be a folder called "lwe". But I don't remember seing in the oiv config any path to this file, so what I did to get rid of the vegetations was renaming my dlcpacks to "dlcpack" in the mods folder, then I saw that after renaming it everything was gone, so I could take some addons files out until I see which one was holding the vegetations. So I could figure it out by myself, thanks a lot for your help !
