Help Needed with Emergency Lighting System Interior Light Issue

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing an issue with the interior lighting in my game. I have LSPDFR mod, Emergency Lighting System (ELS) plugin, and several vehicle mods installed. As you can see in the attached screenshot, the interior lighting is not functioning correctly. The lights are overly bright, making it difficult to see.

Could someone please help me resolve this issue? Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hello @volent,

I suspect that you have made a change in the “visualsettings.dat” so that the emergency lights are brighter.

Depending on the vehicle model/addon, this may also cause certain interior lights to become brighter.

Please first check whether you have set the correct values in visualsettings.dat.
The correct values for a simple configuration of the lights would be e.g:

car.defaultlight.day.emissive.on	=	2500.00
car.defaultlight.night.emissive.on	= 	1500.00

If you have changed other values in visualsettings.dat, these can lead to the problem mentioned above.

Otherwise, in the worst case scenario, you may have to make a change to the vehicle itself. This video may help you with this:

I look forward to your feedback.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely
