Game Crashes

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I just updated my LSPDFR, ScripthookV, ELS, and the bounties game config V33 on gta mods. The game now crashes. I tried removing my Plugins folder but that did't work and am stuck on trying to figure out why the RPH crashes on startup and how to fix it. Any suggestions?

I kinda figured. No matter, add back the SHV.dll file and rename the lml folder to _lml and ModManager to _ModManager and try again.

Hi,

My game was crashing on load up screen and getting a RPH crash message.

What I did to resolve was to remove "dinput8.dll" from my main GTAV folder and this has worked for me but MODs are not loading. So im guessing its one of my .asi files so currently going through to find one what is at fualt.

Keep back ups of anything removed.

Hope this works for you.

At this point, you will benefit from a clean Main Directory. You will want to clean it according to the appropriate section in the image below. After that, verify your game files.

Verifying Your Game Files:

Spoiler

GTA V Steam

Steam Library > Right click GTA V > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files

GTA V Retail

Rockstar Games Launcher > Click GTA V > Click Settings > Verify

GTA V Epic Games

Go to your Epic Games Library > GTA V > click the three little dots > Manage > Verify
