LSPDFR ERROR:"Could not hook game process. Insufficient permissions or bad"

Featured Replies

When attempting to load up LSPDFR via RPH, I am given the Error message of  "LSPDFR ERROR:"Could not hook game process. Insufficient permissions or bad" and loaded into the normal version of GTA V.

Hello mate,

Do the following and it will work for you:-

1- Right click your GTA V folder, go into the security tab, and check everything for the SYSTEM, administrators and yourself. Everything should be checked except for special permissions.

2- Turn off your real time protection from windows.

we can try other things if those steps don't work, but they mostly will do. cheers

You should avoid turning off RTP in any capacity.

@Sean John Before trying the Security Tab step, try the following:

1. Add the Grand Theft Auto V Main Directory to the exceptions list for your anti-virus. Then once that is completed, re-install manual LSPDFR and restart your PC.

2. If the above does not work for you, consult pages 3-5 of the RPH FAQ.
