LSPDFR or RPH crash on initialization

Featured Replies

Not exactly sure where to put this topic but this seemed the most fitting.

I am unable to find the cause of the crashes. It happens every single time I start the game and after the "initializing core" message appears. The most recent mod I installed for GTA 5 was NaturalVision Remastered along with VisualV (optional dependency) which was when the game started to crash on startup. After that I uninstalled both of those mods with their respective original .oiv files and removed NVR's manual installed files but that didn't help. Additionally I verified the integrity of the game files in Steam properties while I disabled all mod folders and files manually and with help from GTA5cleaner.exe. For a last resort without risking a complete reinstallation of all mods I completely reinstalled lspdfr 0.4.9 and RPH for v3179 and that has not helped either.

Only RPH forced game settings sometimes used are DirectX 10 or 11 and Borderless fullscreen.

Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated.

Please send the RPH Crash Log. It's a txt file in the Main Directory either called RagePluginHook or RagePluginHook.log. It is NOT in your Logs folder.
