My game crashes when I have scripthookV installed. As soon as I load RPH it immediately crashes. I have removed it from my my files and the game seems to run just fine. Can anyone tell me what might be wrong?

Scripthookv itself is not the problem, it’s the .asi files that get loaded.

 

you can do:

- rename mods folder to _mods

 

- remove .asi files

 

you can post the scripthookv.log as soon as you tried those steps & haven’t had success

Removing the .asi files worked. Thank you for your help! However once I loaded my game up again it placed the asi file back and made it crash again. Now every time I delete it and try to load my game it places it back causing it to crash. Is there a way to fix this and still run mods like ELS and Simple Trainer?

Which asi file are you talking about?

this file is just a text file... doesnt do anything

the file related to it is dinput8.dll, this one you have to remove

Removing the dinput8.dll stops it from crashing but then my mods don't work.

then your mods have a problem.

 

find out if its an asi file or if its the mods folder.

- rename mods folder to _mods - I have tried this and can confirm it still crashes. So it's not the mods. What asi file should I be looking for?

That’s on you, remove either one by one or remove half of them.

Start with Scripthookvdotnet, then ELS etc
