Weapon replacement is not working.

Featured Replies

I downloaded a double action revolver mod that makes it look more like a police gun, instead of that ugly AF gold one in the game.

Readme tells me to goto update\x64\dlcpacks\mpchristmas2017\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages\weapons.rpf

I did, except I use mods folder and just used OpenIV to copy mpchristmas2017 there, and did the replace. OpenIV preview shows the gun has changed, but ingame model is the vanilla.

I did add mpchristmas2017 to dlclist.xml

I can't even add it as a new DLC as I've done with about hundred cars so far. Nothing I do seems to register with the game. Trainer I use doesn't see it as added weapon, and I can't spawn it.

This is the weapon I'm trying to install: https://www.gta5-mods.com/weapons/d-d-p-police-revolver#comments_tab

Sadly, doesn't work. Double Action Revolver(w_pi_wep1_gun) is not in that particular weapons.rpf. I put the files there anyway but it doesn't work.
