Last night I played LSPDFR for three hours with 0 crashes or issues. This afternoon I clicked RPH to launch and it came up with an error that said "Steam failed to initialize. Please verify that the steam client is running and try again". The Rockstar launcher fails to launch when this error occurs but will launch without RPH. I was able to launch and play every other game except GTA V. I have reinstalled RPH, updated GTA V, reverted GTA V, verified the integrity of the game files, restarted the computer, turned on and off threat protection, ran everything I could as administrator and tried without any mods.

i solved the issue its seams that is problem  of rockstar game launcher APP so oppen that first put your account and then open rage plugin hook and thats it for me that works

Where do you enter your account? I’m having the same issues but when I start game launcher there’s no option to enter anything in.

you have the  Rockstar game launcher??? 

 

Click on the rockstar game launcher then click steam if it’s not open then click rph works for me
