Copying files to new desktop

Featured Replies

hey guys, I'm going to be getting a new PC soon and I had a sudden dread about re downloading all of LSPDFR plugins and stuff.... I've already copy and pasted my entire GTA folder to another portable hard drive, but I'm unsure about OpenIV. Will all of my mods work on the new PC just from copying the folder over, or will I need to do the whole process with OpenIV again? Sorry if this doesn't make sense, I have no other way of wording it 😅😄

Most likely you will have to restart a majority of it. There is only so far that copy and pasting will get you and most other stuff will have to be re-installed.

If you want to ensure they are installed properly then yeah. You can try copying them over from your other PC, but there is a chance something may mess up.
