I have Windows 7 64-bit. I have used OpenIV for quite a while without problems. Now it wants to update, but after downloading the update, it says it had an error. I tried manually downloading the latest version from OpenIV's website, but the installer won't run, even as an admin or in compatibility mode. Says the installer is 16-bit and I need to contact the software maker to see if a 64-bit version is available.

Any Thoughts?

I know my openiv recently uninstalled it's self for some odd reason. Could try finding a similar version just with a different patch i would guess. that's what i did and it was 64-bit. just Google search. hope it helps 

I thought about trying to find an older version, but then wouldn't it try to update before it ran? That is what it does on mine - whenever it starts up it looks for an update before running, and forces an update if it finds one.
