Can't figure out why I keep crashing

Featured Replies

So whenever I load up GTA V without RagePlugin it boots up just fine, but when I try to use Rage and finally get started as a LEO, for some reason it just keeps crashing on me! I added exception folders in my anti-virus (windows defender) for GTA V, LSPDFR and plug-in folders.

RagePluginHook.log

Managed to get it to work thanks to turning off the DirectX setting in RPH!

Try the following:

1. Load GTA 5 first. Then, once in-game, tab out and launch RagePluginHook.

2. Go into the CommandLine.txt file in your main GTA directory and delete everything inside the file and then add -windowed and save and exit the document. Then retry step 1.

3. Add the GTA V folder your antivirus's exclusions list. Then restart your computer. Then retry step 1.

4. Disable any in-game overlay such as Discord, Steam, OverWolf, or Nvidia GeForce Experience. Then retry step 1.

If you have tried all those steps and it still isn't helping, please reference Page 4 of the RPH FAQ.
