I have been trying to join the unofficial support discord, but the invite says “whoops unable to accept invite.” How do I fix this? I really need to join because I need help as to why my rage plug-in hook, despite being up to date, gets stuck on “launching game” and when I run it after launching GTA it says “bad anti-virus or insufficient permissions” despite elevated permissions and exclusion in my anti-virus. 

It’s something to do with the Rockstar launcher because every time I start GTA normally, it asks whether to allow “Rockstar Installer” to edit the computer. And then when I use Rage, it gets stuck on “launching game” whilst it opens the Rockstar Launcher which just has “Play on Epic.”

 

Unsuccessful fixes: NO OTHER MODS AND GTA V WORKS FINE WITHOUT IT, GAME FILES VERIFIED, ELEVATED PERMISSIONS, ANTIVIRUS EXCLUSION, LATEST RAGE HOOK.

FIX FOUND: Deleted McAfee antivirus because you can’t exclude the entire GTA V directory, I was only excluding the Rage Hook which didn’t work.
