Game crashes

Featured Replies

Hello. I downloaded lspdfr and everything required today, I also downloaded UI's and car mods. Everytime I open the game and Rage Plugin the game goes into the loading screen and then crashes. Can anyone help?

Remove the car mods, then launch the game.

If it doesn't crash, then you either incorrectly installed the car mods, or the car mod itself is causing the crash.

If it did crash, please attach your RagePluginHook log here, it is a text file located in your GTA V directory.

I redownloaded GTA as it was still crashing. The game does not even launch now. Also it says my RagePluginHook file is too large.

(Edit)
I uninstalled all my plugins and car mods, game still crashes on start. It says that RagePluginHook sends a crash report.

None of those issues is going to resolve itself by reinstalling GTA V, then putting a bunch of mods back in and hoping it will somehow magically work.

1. After you've reinstalled the game, run the game in story mode, does it crash?

2. If it doesn't crash, install LSPDFR and RPH via the manual installation package, and launch RPH.exe, does it crash?

Try whitelisting your GTA V folder with Windows Defender. You can see how to do this here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/add-an-exclusion-to-windows-security-811816c0-4dfd-af4a-47e4-c301afe13b26#:~:text=Go to Start > Settings > Update,%2C file types%2C or process.
