No ELS...says new LSPDFR version available after New install

Featured Replies

I have been around for years. Updated my Epic Games version of GTAV probably 20+ times after all of the updates. I have never had an issue I couldn't figure out until now.

My game is working fine, but the ELS lights are not working on my emergency vehicles. I've reinstalled ELS, LSPDFR, RAGE Plugin Hook...and more. The only other weird thing is the screen pops up with a statement that a new version of LSPDFR is available 0.4.8678.25591. This is AFTER I installed the most recent LSPDFR 0.4.9 which shows when I go into the menu to check the version.

Any ideas to help get my ELS working? The ELS files are in the correct location.

Hi, did you install RagePluginHook separately from the one that comes with the LSPDR archive? if so, that is outdated

just install the one that comes with the LSPFR archive

NOTE: if you using LSPDFR auto installer i recommend using the manual installer(mean zip)

No, I used the RAGE Plugin Hook from the LSPDFR exe install.

Thanks for the reply.

I just completely reinstalled the entire game with mods and still having the issue 🫤

I no longer have the LSPDFR message saying there is a new version.

JUST the issue with no flashing lights with the ELS system

Okay here is what we will do. Clean your Main Directory out so that it looks like the appropriate section below. Then run the game. If it runs fine, install manual LSPDFR and then test RPH. See what happens.

I reinstalled LSPDFR manually with no change.

UnknownBastion, I don't see the need to clear out the main directory to test the game...as I already did that and the game works perfectly fine...

it's just once I add my ELS vehicles into OpenIV and their xml files to the GTAV>ELS>pack_default...the lights don't work on any of them. Every single other mod works perfectly.

It's a lot easier to fix one problem at a time. I want to fix the LSPDFR version issue first. Clean your Directory. If you have anything you want to save, put it on your desktop for now.

Sorry, you missed my comment. After I reinstalled everything, I don’t have the version issue anymore.

Now install ELS and one ELS enabled vehicle. Then test ELS.

You NAILED it. Removed all ELS cars and the first one I tried alone worked (which happens to be the one I tried every time before that wasn’t working).

So apparently one of the ELS cars is corrupt or something. I didn’t add any new cars since before the last update when they all worked. Hmm

Thank you! I’ll have to test them all.
