Hello,

i just did a fresh install of GTA IV and started fresh with all mods etc.... then re installed all of the ones i wanted. however when i try and make a change in ELS, Policing script etc. it pops up for me to save the file, for one it should just save without having to save as a, "save as" next i hit save and it pops up and says "acces denied" i have set the GTA Folder to not be read only yet i still have this problem, any suggestions would be nice, but solutions are better. one last quick note, after the latest OPEN IV update i have not been able to import cars only skins.

You have to right-click the GTA IV folder, then click "Properties", then go to the "Security" tab, and change the permissions so you have full control of the folder. Now it should work.

If that doesnt work, I usually just pull it to desktop, edit it, then move it back.

same. also is this the ini for the policing scripts, if so you should change the TXT tab to ALL FILES and save it as .ini not .txt
