More complicated than just renaming the file?

Featured Replies

Hey, I'm a big fan of CVPI's and would like a CVPI in the Police1 slot and another in the Police2 slot. Unfortunately all the Crown Vics are made for police1. I've tried renaming a car to police2 (both the files of course), but every time the old car I had in the slot shows up, and the one I renamed is nowhere to be found. I've tried this multiple times, and to no avail. I use SparkIV if it matters, thanks.

I have a general idea of what you're trying to say, but not exactly quite fully. Are you renaming the file before you import them into SparkIV?

I seem to get what you are saying but have you checked you have renamed the right file? It might be because you have rename the police1 one to police 2 therefore you have 2 same cars.

If you take a car and it's named ''police'' and change it to ''police2'' you will have to same car in 2 different spots. If you want 2 different CVPIs, then you can download a different one, and name it to police2, you can also use the noose slot.

Are you sure that you saved it? It doesn't sound like the file has updated. You can rename any vehicle to anything you want and it should work (with the exception of boats, helis and bikes).
