The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

How to add specific vehicles for different departments

im trying to figure out how to add new fire trucks and such for the different departments (bcfd, sahp, etc.)

 

when I go into the police garage on lspdfr it shows as different departments I just don’t know what to name the files

 

any help would be great!

If you want it to show in the garage, then navigate to lspdfr/data.

In there you will see an agency.xml. You find the section for the agency that you want to add the cars to, then you insert the lines in the <Vehicles> section so it looks like below.
<Vehicles>
                <Vehicle>police</Vehicle>
                <Vehicle>police2</Vehicle>
                <Vehicle>police3</Vehicle>
                <Vehicle>AddonVehicle</Vehicle>
</Vehicles>

Obviously the one called AddonVehicles won't be called that, but it should be replaced with whatever the file name is for the vehicle you added.

Once you have done that, then you go into the duty_selection.xml and find the <VehicleDescriptions> section. Create a new line between the last entry and </VehicleDescriptions>.

You can make the name whatever you want and fullName the same. Just ensure that the agencyRef matches the agency you want it to appear under in the garage and the file name aligns with what the vehicle file name is called.

And that is it! It should now spawn in the garage!
