Unfortunately no. If there is no setting in the config for LSPDFR (which there isn't), then that is the sound it will be at. Unless you want to lower the overall game volume.

Hey whenever I say 'Shots Fired' it panic buttons and the noise is way too loud and wakes up my house and I am getting PTSD.

How do I lower this or make the sound stop?

Hey there,

It is possible to alter, and in your case lower, the volume for the Panic feature found within Grammar Police without affecting the volume of GTAV itself.

This can be achieved by simply lowering the volume of the audio file that is played.

First of all, you should check whether Grammar Police is using the native panic, or is using an external panic feature / button from Ultimate Backup.

You can check the [UseNative] section in your Grammar Police configuration file to confirm this.

If you are using native Grammar Police panic:

Please navigate to the following path: GTAV/Plugins/LSPDFR/GrammarPolice/audio.

Here you will find the file called panic_button.wav

If you are using Ultimate Backup panic:

Please navigate to the following path: GTAV/Plugins/LSPDFR/UltimateBackup/Audio.

Here you will find the file called PANIC_BUTTON.wav

From here, you can then use any audio editing software, and a quick browse of the internet has shown me several websites, that will allow you to incrementally lower the volume of the audio file.

I hope this helps. 🙂
