LSPDFR keeps crashing when I try to go on duty

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, I have an issue and I was hoping someone could help me get it fixed.

The game worked until at one point it crashed and I loaded a few new mods, at which point it stopped working all together. It crashes when I try to go on duty and play every time. I tried changing the pluging timeout threshhold of RAGE to 60000 (which didn't help) as well as uninstalling recent plugins, entirely reinstalling the contents of the mods folder (I tried to change the name and run lspdfr without it but I saw a big stock image of a tree on the screen). I have Redux installed with ReShade and I have no idea what is causing this issue at this point, I've been trying to fix it for the last 2 or so hours. As a side note, it crashes instantly if I launch it at the same time as GTA 5, but only when I try to go on duty if I launch GTA story first and then inject Rage. I also tried reinstalling scripthook.

I would really appreciate some help.

Here is the latest crash report if it helps:

Update:

I have installed a ScriptHookVDotNet3.dll, ScriptHookVDotNet.log and a ScriptHookVDotNet2 file hoping it would do the trick.

I launched GTA 5 and then started Rage.

Now the whole game crashed when I tried to inject lspdfr 😄

The file ScriptHookVDotNet.log is not read only.

When I tried to relaunch the game normally I could only see a black screen.

I'm debating reinstalling everything because I have a full copy of GTA 5 backed up (in hindsight I should have done that much earlier because I would have possibly saved time and energy in the long run)
Here's the updated log:

I am going to reinstall all of the mods and I'll edit this reply if it works, thankfully I had a backup copy of GTA 5.

Did that and everything appears to work fine so far. If I encounter another problem I'll make a new post. Thank you Officer Chris for trying to help.
