Greetings,

 

So recently I've been having issues with some vehicles when trying to pull over vehicles. The usual button to press to pull over a vehicle is SHIFT as you know but with two vehicles I'm using, both Tahoes, it's telling me I have to press E to pull over a vehicle when I press SHIFT to try to and pull them over. When I do this, it just blares my horn and the vehicle never pulls over. I have no idea what is causing this problem. I've tried reinstalling the vehicle and reinstalling the ELS but that didn't work and ELS traffic control is set to off. I did recently uninstall visualv and I've been thinking if that's the cause of the problem but I'm not quite sure about that.

 

P.S. In the screenshot I am in code 3 lighting, I know it doesn't look like that. Just how the lighting sequence works for this vehicle.

The message "press E to pullover" is from LSPDFR. It doesn't know if you're using ELS or not.

 

If you're using ELS, you have to press J three times to activate Stage 3.

Alright I'll try re installing ELS and see if that fixes anything.

Hello, sorry for late reply. I reinstalled ELS completely, went in game and pressed J three times as you said but I'm still getting the same error.

is it a replace or addon vehicle?

have you installed any meta files or lines?

You can just add the flag FLAG_LAW_ENFORCEMENT and FLAG_EMERGENCY_SERVICE to the vehicles <flags></flags> tag in the vehicles.meta. You should be able to pull cars over then

They are both replace. The Sheriff SUV Tahoe is part of an addon that replaced the sheriff vehicles. I don't think I did anything with my meta files, there's nothing in my download history that required me to use a meta file. Recently I installed some EUP and a visual.dat modification but neither required me to edit a meta file.

the thing is if you have an addon vehicle, you need to tell gta via meta files that it is a police vehicle and can pullover other vehicles.

 

if its a replace vehicle, that is already done.

I went to the vehicle.meta file, the flags for both vehicle files are proper.

Just realized that I might have done something with a carcols file but that's a .ymt and not meta. Does that have anything to do with it?

Just learned that I did edit a meta file, carvariations.meta. I also tinkered with carcols.ymt if that changes anything.
