Mods folder not recognized!

Featured Replies

I loaded GTA V today and upon loading into story mode, none of my mods are working.  I have the three files in ASI manager installed, that I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times with no effect.  my mods folder is labeled "mods" and in the main directory.  I recently downloaded a DLC car mod that I placed in the correct location in the "mods" folder and then  edited the dlclist.  It appears the problem began after that.  I deleted that mod and removed the line from the dlclist.  I rechecked the dlclist and I believe it is clear of any errors.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey there,

I'm not too sure about this problem but I'd like to give it a stab nonetheless.

Could you please attach a screenshot of your main directory?

Thank you!

I was able to figure it out. I re-named my "mods" folder to "_mods" disabling it.  I then started the game and loaded into the story mod with an un-modded version.  I then closed the game and changed "_mods" back to "mods" and was able to get the application to recognize the mods folder.  Thank you for your response
