I was playing GTAV fine Wednesday night with LSPDFR and Rage Plug in loaded. Yesterday I decided to add some plugins before starting up. Rage would start in the bottom left hand corner of my screen and on the right bottom corner it would show that it was loading with rage plugins. The middle of the screen showed that it was loading plugins but it would still load me in as Michael in story mode. I couldn't get LSPDFR to load in GTAV. I removed all the new plugins from my GTAV folder and reinstalled LSPDFR, Rage plugin hook, and even uninstalled and reinstalled GTAV through steam. Now all I get when starting Rage is the initial config screen and in the bottom it says my version of GTAV will not work with the version of Rage pluginhook. I am thinking that maybe I need to start over with LSPDFR and let the plugin hook with LSPDFR have priority over the one on the rageplugin website due to the new red message on LCPDFR.COM but I swear that I have already tried this a couple times last night. Anyone else have this problem? Where do I start now? Please help. I miss my story mode RP 😞

Can you post a screenshot of that error?

 

can you please post your ragepluginhook.log from the main gta folder, too?

I am at work right now and will post those screenshots when I get home.( about 8 hours from now)

@OfficerChris1 and @CaptnMerica Gaming  I started having the same issues.  But mine started with the most recent update through steam.  Luckily I had a clean copy.

 mine does work most of the time.  I had to redownload new RPH into the copy of the new folder.

 

I was able to play for a good three hours before I went to bed last night.  But then my son tried to play immediately after by reloading and it wouldn’t work.  Today before I left to take my kids to school, it worked again.  I believe it had something to do with RPH trying to load in a second drive (C drive).  My gaming is on D Drive while everything else is C.  I think I accidentally placed RPH at one point in my Cdrive.

If i try to load game with RPH down on my task bar even via admin priv it does what yours does.  (Even if directly brought from D drive GTA folder).  But if i do it directly through D drive it works.

 

I am sorry for the bouncing around.  ADHD moment.

 

In short, check and see if it accidentally got downloaded into the wrong drive besides your main gaming🤦🏼‍♂️
