game crashing immediately after rage hooks

so a little update,it will launch when i disable directx hook in the option menu,but without that disabled,it immediately crashes.I have tried renaming my mods folder,and the game will start right up without rage.Any suggestions?

I have tried that on my game and it crashes immediately without rage so I have no idea whats wrong on my end I have verified my game files and all

Where do you find those settings so that I can try it
