I am able to use the computer and radio any other time, just not during the callout that wants me to lookup a name.
The very first lookup did work, but stopped working indefinitely after.

 

 

Plugins installed:

  • LSPDFR (Loaded After Game Loads)

 

 

 Possible FIX for BLACK SCREEN On Startup 
(No intro plays, no crash box that doesnt even log anything for some reason (no rageplugin logfile})

 

      1. Set GTA V Folder Permission to USER ACCOUNTS or CURRENTWINDOWS/USERACCOUNT

           Include All Folders and Sub Folders.

 

      2. Right Click the GTA V Folder -> Click Properties and Uncheck the box that says Read-Only. Click Apply.

            (Reinstall Rage & LSPDFR)

       Note: Don't forget to run LSPDFR setup after installation!

       (Optional: Make sure Rockstar Launcher is not Installed in the same directory as GTA 5, Reinstall)

 

[If anyone believes this is a solution to black screen startup crash, feel free to add it to a tips and tricks/fixes post]

 

 

 

Update: I Reinstalled GTA5, This time, Don't install Rockstar Launcher in the Same Directory as GTA (They conflict)

(No more Permission Errors or GTALauncher wanting to update every launch)
