[SOLVED]The update folder

Featured Replies

I watched some videos about adding police car models and they seid to create a  folder called mods and copy the update folder into it.

When i do so my pc crashes.

So i wonder? Is it really necessary to do so? And what would happen if i instaled the models to the original update folder?

Thanks

You can, but you lose the ability to easily fix an issue in case you incorrectly install a mod or install a bad one that causes a crash.

Are you using OpenIV? That will install tools that will allow your game to recognize modified archives and a mods folder. It can also help you easily copy your archives to the mods folder without causing an issue.
